A Brief Introduction
One of our most recent recruits, Raluca Bobutanu joined Vision One as Research Executive in September 2020. She works alongside Tony Lewis and Victoria Wood on our many different qualitative projects for a wide array of clients.
Born and bred in Romania, Raluca relocated to the UK in late 2013 in the pursuit of higher education. In the intervening seven years, she graduated with an MA in Marketing from Leeds University Business School, gained Erasmus experience at the University of Vienna in Austria, and obtained a BA in Cultural Studies and German from the University of Nottingham. Coming from a more rigorous educational system, Raluca thrived in the UK's more independent, research-led model, and the marketing and market research modules she had taken as a student forever changed her career aspirations.
Raluca's interests lie in brand communications, international marketing, and reputation management. Previous to joining our qualitative team, Raluca conducted small-scale qualitative and quantitative research, both independently and as part of a team. While she feels comfortable working with numbers, Raluca prefers working with words much more to explore aspects of everyday life and unravel how people live, think, behave, shop, share etc.
