David Robertson joins Vision One as a fractional CFO, bringing more than 20 years of senior financial leadership experience, with a strong track record of driving strategic growth, improving performance, and guiding businesses through periods of transformation. His role will focus on strengthening the financial foundations of the business—introducing greater clarity around investment decisions, improving forecasting, and ensuring that Vision One is set up to scale sustainably as demand for insight-led services continues to grow.
The Role
At a strategic level, David will help Vision One move beyond traditional financial management into a more forward-looking, commercially driven model. This includes identifying where the business should invest—particularly in new technologies, data capabilities, and AI-driven insights tools—to enhance the value delivered to clients. By bringing a more structured approach to capital allocation and ROI measurement, he will enable the business to invest with confidence, accelerating innovation while maintaining financial discipline.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?
I’ve always been a keen sportsman and enjoyed playing Rugby League and football for local teams in Warrington, but now I largle play (and almost) enjoy playing golf when I’m not in the rough!
Tell us about your family…
I have two children Ewan and Abbie. Ewan as just started his career as a Tennis coach and Abbie is at university.
Do you have any side hustles or work outside of finance?
I’m also a trustee at my local Community Centre near Warrington
