We’re sponsoring this year’s Best Use of Market Research at the Northern Marketing Awards 2017!

The Northern Marketing Awards celebrate the excellence, creativity and achievements of the marketing industry in the North.

Now in the fifth year, the region benefits from an abundance of quality communications initiatives emanating each year from the many private, public and not-for-profit sector bodies.

The event will award 20 categories, including some sector-specific campaigns and then best agency awards.

The 2017 awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 1 November 2017 at the Hilton Deansgate, Manchester. The awards will attract an audience of over 400 marketeers from across the north and will be an exceptional networking opportunity. A few of the team from Vision One will be there too!

A few of the judges include:

Andy Barke – Head of northern agencies, Google

Stuart Clarke – Festival director, Leeds digital festival

Andrew Diggle – Acting head of media, Manchester United

Ewan Douglas – Agency principal, Channel 4

Kristal Ireland – Head of eCommerce and retail, Virgin Trains

The judging process involved Judges reading and pre-scoring all entry forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. Judges were then asked to give a score for each question within the entry form. These were then combined to give an overall score for each entry. All judges’ pre-scores were then combined and the highest-scoring entries determined the shortlists.

Judges then meet to discuss the highest-scoring entries and agree on the winner for each category. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 1 November 2017.
