What if better business decisions didn’t start with more data… but with better questions? At Vision One, we believe insight isn’t just uncovered — it’s investigated.
So this April, we’re doing something different. We’re stepping outside our industry… and into the world of real investigative thinking.
And for the first time, we’re opening it up.
A FREE Police Investigation Workshop
We’re inviting a select number of clients and a limited number of external participants to join us for a one-day immersive, high-impact training experience.
- No lectures.
- No passive learning.
This is hands-on, fast-paced, and designed to change how you think.
The investigation workshop
As part of our broader team training at Vision One and to discover new and better ways to uncover insights, we’re holding a two-day training event in Liverpool. As part of this, we’re offering a few clients and members of the public the opportunity to join us for a day of training. Across two highly interactive days, participants will step into real-world scenarios where:
- Evidence must be interpreted
- Assumptions must be challenged
- And communication determines outcomes
This is not passive learning. It is an applied, high-engagement development designed to build skills that transfer directly to business, leadership, and everyday decision-making.

Choose Your Experience
Day 1: The Murder Investigation
Step into a live investigation.
Work in teams to:
- Analyse evidence and uncover what matters
- Separate fact from assumption
- Build and defend hypotheses
- Communicate clearly under pressure
This is where thinking meets teamwork — and where weak assumptions get exposed fast.
Day 2: The Psychology of Interviewing
Learn how to ask better questions — the kind that unlock real insight.
Using techniques grounded in forensic psychology, you’ll explore:
- How to gather accurate, reliable information
- How to reduce bias in conversations
- How to interpret responses more effectively
- How to lead better, more productive discussions
These are the same skills used in high-stakes investigations — now applied to business.
The evidential interview is ultimately a tool for gathering facts — transferable across buying, selling, negotiating and resolving conflict.
What You’ll Walk Away With
This isn’t just “interesting training.” – It’s practical capability.
You’ll improve how you:
- Communicate ideas with clarity and confidence
- Challenge assumptions (including your own)
- Navigate ambiguity and make better decisions
- Build trust in conversations
- Ask questions that actually lead to insight
In short: you’ll think sharper, communicate better, and decide faster.
How attendance works
We’re opening a small number of places by invitation to clients, partners, and curious minds who want to think differently
- The experience runs across two full days (10 am start each day)
- Guests are invited to attend one day only
- You will be asked to select your preferred day when registering your interest
If you are interested in attending our police investigation workshop, run by Zakon, but neither the date nor the venue suits you, please let us know.
This is about becoming a better communicator, thinker and decision-maker — not just a better researcher.
