Business Operations Executive
Paige Torrington is a Business Operations Executive at Vision One, supporting client development and helping ensure new enquiries receive a responsive, professional and welcoming experience from the very first conversation.
As one of the first points of contact for prospective clients, Paige helps coordinate enquiries, meetings and proposals, working closely with Vision One’s client development and research teams to understand what organisations need and connect them with the right expertise.
Alongside her client development responsibilities, Paige helps manage The Lounge, Vision One’s research community and participant recruitment service, supporting the smooth coordination of research participants and projects.
What interests me most about research is seeing how people connect with brands and understanding the reasons behind their perceptions and opinions.
Paige’s Story
Paige joined Vision One with a strong background in customer service, client communication and business operations.
Before moving into market research, Paige worked in client care at a Veterinary Practice, where she acted as a first point of contact for clients across phone, email and face to face enquiries. Her role involved coordinating appointments, handling client onboarding, maintaining accurate records and supporting the wider team with day to day operations.
Prior to this, Paige spent several years in retail, developing her communication, organisation and customer service skills while working across a fast paced retail environment.
Paige graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Communication.
Her combination of client facing experience and strong organisational skills made client development and business operations a natural next step. At Vision One, Paige is often involved at the very beginning of the client relationship, helping turn an initial enquiry into a conversation with the right member of the team.

What Paige Brings to Vision One
Paige brings a combination of client service, communication and organisation to Vision One.
She is comfortable being the first person someone speaks to, understanding what they need and making sure their enquiry reaches the right person. Her previous roles have also given her experience of working in busy environments where accuracy, responsiveness and prioritisation are essential.
Her role sits at an important point between clients, the client development team and Vision One’s wider research operation, helping ensure opportunities are coordinated effectively from the initial enquiry onwards.
Away from Vision One, Paige enjoys walking her dog Bernie, reading and going out with friends.
“So what attracted you to a career in Market Research?”
“My degree in Fashion Communications gave me a strong interest in marketing, branding, and how people respond to different ideas and messages. Moving into market research felt like a natural way to build on that interest and understand more about what influences people’s opinions and decisions.
My current role is mainly focused on administration, responding to enquiries, and supporting the early stages of projects, which has given me a great introduction to the industry and the variety of research clients are looking for.”
One of my greatest personal achievements is completing my Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. It challenged me in lots of different ways and taught me a lot about perseverance, teamwork and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone.
I am also proud of completing my Fashion Communications degree, which helped me build my confidence, creativity, and communication skills.
I really enjoy seeing the variety of enquiries that come into the business and learning about the different challenges clients are trying to solve.
I also find it interesting seeing how research develops from an initial question into something that can give a client clear answers and help them make decisions.
My biggest ambition is to keep developing my skills and knowledge within market research and gradually become more involved in different parts of the research process.
I want to continue learning, build my confidence, and take on more responsibility so I can develop a career that I am genuinely proud of.
