About Christine
Previously, whilst studying at Bangor University, Christine developed a keen interest in consumer behaviour. After undertaking a Consumer Psychology module during undergrad, she followed that passion to a master’s where Christine studied Consumer Psychology with Business. Christine said:
“I found it particularly fascinating how the slightest change in the environment can have such a big effect on people. In particular, how this knowledge is used all over the consumer landscape“.
From her university experience, Christine sought a career that helped businesses better understand their consumers. So Christine applied to Vision One after seeing the positive effect the work had on the brands we work with.
Today, Christine has honed her skills and is an accomplished Insights manager who has worked across B2B and Consumer research markets with Brand tracking, Communication and Concept testing, U&A, Segmentation and User Journeys.

Outside of Work
When Christine isn’t busy working, she enjoys annoying the neighbours with my bad guitar playing (we can vouch for that!), keeping up with the news, having games nights with my friends (reigning Trivial Pursuit champion) and attending the odd pub quiz.
Having recently joined the property ladder she is currently honing her DIY skills at the weekend.

“So what attracted you to a career in Market Research?”
I’ve been fascinated by consumer behaviour for a long time and really wanted to work in a field where that interest can be put into practice. I love how consumer insight can transform a business and help them to develop and help improve the customer experience.
AI is dominating many businesses at the moment. But I still feel that companies should do more to embrace is the move towards becoming greener and more sustainable. Some of the projects we’ve done show that consumers still hold a high interest in sustainability.
I would have to say Dr Beckmann because I got to go to my first focus group, which was surprisingly interesting considering it was about toilet cleaners! It was a great experience and I loved understanding both the flow and how the conversation can evolve and evoke new ideas – you can actually see the creativity bouncing off everyone.
Unnatural Causes by Dr Richard Shepherd. A fascinating and touching read, I finished it a few months ago, and I’m still thinking about it now.
