Our Green Ambitions
In 2021, we started our journey and ambition to become one of the UK’s greenest research agencies. Initially, we started out to explore different avenues, and now that we’ve moved on, we wanted to share with you the work we’re doing to make a positive impact.
Net Zero
We have taken a major step toward our ambition to become one of the leading agencies in sustainability by signing up to the Net Zero Pledge, set up by the MRS as a manifesto that addresses the core areas of sustainability within research.
What does the pledge mean?
The pledge focuses on two areas: first, how we at Vision One reduce and mitigate our environmental impact. The other is how we help the companies we work with: how they perceive and understand their impact, and how we use insight to show how it reflects not only the brands but also the consumers, recommending the best solutions to contribute in the right way.
Carbon Reduction Plan
The company started monitoring emissions in 2021. We project that Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon emissions will decrease to 3.6 tCO2e by 2026. This is a 50% reduction. We are currently implementing further measures, such as reducing commuting and business travel, using public transport when available, and removing printers from the business.
Our Tree Planting story so far…
We want to plant as many trees as possible over the year, so we’re keeping track of our total. We’ve set the goal of reaching 500+ trees planted, however, we aim to smash that target. In order to reach this goal, we’ve come up with some creative and fun ways for us to fundraise and plant as many tree plants as possible.
